The Sun-Mar 200 Garden Composter

Sun-Mar 200 Garden Composter is a light-duty composter ideal for kitchen scraps and light yard clippings. It's compact size is an ideal composter for those with limited yard space. The unit is very easy to assemble and easy to use.

Operation is Easy:

In the 200, material is added by sliding the input door open. To mix and aerate the compost, the drum is rotated using four finger friendly slots running along the outside of the drum.

 

Compost is removed by opening the output port, rotating the drum and allowing compost to fall from the inner drum into a bushel basket or other container.

Optional Rollers
The unit has optional rollers, which can be snapped into the cradle base to make it easier to move the composter. This composter is quite easily rolled when full, so you can keep moving it to the sunniest spot in the yard, or like I do, move it closer to the door in the fall so you don't have to trudge across the whole yard all winter to add kitchen waste to your composter.

Spare Parts
You are unlikely to need them but we include 2 spare vent plugs and one spare drum cap in case you break one.

Compost Swift - Dilute 8 to 1 with water to give your compost a boost by accelerating the action of aerobic bacteria. If you like it, it is sold in 32 oz bottles here.

Compost Magic - Soak this "brick" of compressed coconut husks in a 2 gallon pail of water for a few hours to give you a bucketful of fluffy "brown" material. Add a handful whenever you add your "green" kitchen waste or lawn & garden trimmings to help your compost maintain an optimal carbon/nitrogen ratio.
